Founded by passionate high school students to make engineering education accessible to elementary and middle school students in the Austin area. Started with a vision to inspire the next generation of innovators and problem solvers.
Collaborated with professional engineers who volunteered as guest speakers and mentors, bringing real-world experience into our classrooms.
Planning to expand our programs to reach more students across Austin. Developing new curriculum modules, building partnerships with STEM organizations, and working towards establishing UpDraft Engineering as a registered nonprofit iniative to serve our community even more effectively. Developing more partnerships and expanding internationally.
Hosting Zoom classes with SAFE Foundation, one of our partners, to expand our reach globally. Also starting up fundraising for future meetings and to give back to the community. Will be teaching at Girls Scout's badge event in the Central Texas area. Obtained more partners; potential partnership with UT's ANS in the works.
